I'm Allison, nice to meet you.

A little bit about me: I am a high school senior living in Michigan (Go Blue!) with a strong interest in the study of medicine, a persistent love for art, and an unyielding draw to long conversations pondering puzzling phenomena (what came first: the chicken or the egg? I'm on team chicken).

I've always been lucky enough to have people around me to entertain these ideas with. I was even luckier to get an answer to my most puzzling question of all, "How does COVID-19 kill?" by talking to professionals in the field and doing my own research.

Through my picture book COVID-19: Not Just the Flu, I want to share with all people the content of the conversations I had with these professionals, offering everyone a chance to answer the weighty question, "How does COVID-19 kill?" for themselves.
